Electronic Controller

Type E1 Electronic Controller is designed over a compact and movil skid, multimode and easy configurable, it allows to measure pressure, temperature, caudal, etc.; it analyzes; operate well´s valves, chronologically writes data and events logs over 6 months; it runs on a rechargeable battery and is remotely linked by various means.

The “ESD” closes de SSV in case of high or low pressure/temperature, securing the environment and facilities. It also allows to manually operate in any situation.

It incorporates “OPTIPRO” software, witch optimizes production on depleted wells managing openings and closings to enhance maximum production according to wells characteristics. It also operates in “timer mode”. .

It provides internet remote access through GSM net nor adding a modem to enhance satellite access. Also allows radial, microwaves, Ethernet,GSM and satellite SCADA system.

Pneumatic Controllers

The main function of the CNM Pneumatic Controller is to shut down the Pneumatic Surface Safety Valve. In case that the sensed pressure goes above or below the pre established limits, the CNM Pneumatic Controller automatically vents the actuator and shuts down the gate valve. It also allows local/manual shut down by tripping the pneumatic relay (pos N ° 4).

The CNM pneumatic controller is a compact unit that can sense line pressure from 10 PSI (0.7 bar) to 11480 PSI (791 bar). It can operate at working temperatures of -30°C (-22°F) to 80°C (176°C).

PNEUMATIC RELAY

The pneumatic relay (Relay NM) controls the gas supply to the valve actuator.

The NM relay can work either in a manual reset or automatic reset mode. Thru a very simple operation which consist of inverting a piston and changing a seal.

PNEUMATIC PILOTS

The Pneumatic Pilots (Pilots NM) control the line pressure and close the safety valve through the Pneumatic Relay.

Technical Characteristics:

  • Maximum supply pressure: 250 PSI (17.3 bar)..
  • Working Temperature: -30°C (-22°F) to 80°C (176°F).
  • Control Pressure range: 50 PSI (3.4 bar) to 11480 PSI (791 bar).
  • Control Pressure connection: 1/2” NPT Male.
  • Supply Pressure connection: 1/4” NPT Female.

Actuated Gate Valves

The SSV is the device that blocks or allows the flow thru the production line. It is therefore an essential part of the Surface Safety System. It´s components are a Model “S” gate valve plus an actuator. The combination of the Model “S” gate valve with an inverted port gate (the opening port is in the upper section of the gate) and our actuator, results in the SSV to be normally closed.

The model S valve can be supplied with pneumatic or hydraulic actuators.

The pneumatic or hydraulic operated valves, meet a wide range of applications in oil and gas services up to 10,000 PSI, they can be supplied with pilots, filters and all the necessary elements that compose and integrated surface safety system.

In case of hydraulic operated valves, they can be supplied as self-contained packages. These units do not require external power source.

Actuator´s main features are to have Internal sleeve protected with Non Electrolytic Nickel Coating, non-elastomeric stem packing, Metal to Metal backseat between stem & bonnet, adjustable built-in stroke limit and to be easy inspection and repairing.

The pneumatic actuators are simple effect piston actuators designed to operate any gate valve. These actuators can be powered by wellhead gas, treated gas, air or nitrogen.

Downhole Safety Valve

DHSV

The Tubing Retrievable Safety Valve, always positioned subsea, is a component of the production tubing, and a safe way to prevent blows or uncontrolled well flows, in the event of a failure in the surface safety equipment, preserving the environment and people's lives.

The valve is normally closed, controlled from the surface. For allowing production the DHSV has to stand in the open position. It also allows the installation of a Wireline Retrievable Safety Valve. Both can be self-equalizing or non-equalizing.

 Performance Tests

We conduct our own performance tests according to API 6A Annex F, PR2 level in order to qualify the product for the required service. These tests guarantee the necessary reliability to meet the internal and external market needs for oil and gas.

 Fire Test Lab

We have a modern fire test laboratory for valves. It simulates extreme operating conditions in order to qualify valves to meet API 6FA requirements.

 Test Stand for CC and Mudline

Our test stands allow us to test and simulate equipment assembly under conditions similar to those on the field, both on-shore and off-shore.
